Gixy is a tool to analyze Nginx configuration. The main goal of Gixy is to prevent security misconfiguration and automate flaw detection.
DNS Diagnostics and Performance Measurement Tools
Ever been wondering if your ISP is hijacking your DNS traffic? Ever observed any misbehavior with your DNS responses? Ever been redirected to wrong address and suspected something is wrong with your DNS? Here we have a set of tools to perform basic audits on your DNS requests and responses to make sure your DNS is working as you expect.
You can measure the response time of any given DNS server for arbitrary requests using dnsping. Just like traditional ping utility, it gives you similar functionality for DNS requests.
You can also trace the path your DNS request takes to destination to make sure it is not being redirected or hijacked. This can be done by comparing different DNS queries being sent to the same DNS server using dnstraceroute and observe if there is any difference between the path.
dnseval evaluates multiple DNS resolvers and helps you choose the best DNS server for your network. While it is highly recommended to use your own DNS resolver and never trust any third-party DNS server, but in case you need to choose the best DNS forwarder for your network, dnseval lets you compare different DNS servers from performance (latency) and reliability (loss) point of view.
GoAccess is an open source real-time web log analyzer and interactive viewer that runs in a terminal in *nix systems. It provides fast and valuable HTTP statistics for system administrators that require a visual server report on the fly.
Produce JSON from commandline https://github.com/jpmens/jo/blob/master/jo.md
... allows you to run a command and see what it does to your files without actually doing it! After reviewing the operations listed, you can then decide whether you really want these things to happen or not.

estssl.sh is a free command line tool which checks a server's service on any port for the support of TLS/SSL ciphers, protocols as well as recent cryptographic flaws and more.
This tool is a command-line client for the SSL Labs APIs, designed for automated and/or bulk testing.

SCIM is a spreadsheet program that is based on SC (http://ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/apps/financial/spreadsheet/sc-7.16.tar.gz)
A spreadsheet is an interactive computer application program for organization and analysis of data in tabular form. Spreadsheets are developed as computerized simulations of paper accounting worksheets. The program operates on data represented as cells of an array, organized in rows and columns. Each cell of the array is a model–view–controller element that can contain either numeric or text data, or the results of formulas that automatically calculate and display a value based on the contents of other cells.
The user of the spreadsheet can make changes in any stored value and observe the effects on calculated values. This makes the spreadsheet useful for "what-if" analysis since many cases can be rapidly investigated without tedious manual recalculation. Modern spreadsheet software can have multiple interacting sheets, and can display data either as text and numerals, or in graphical form. SCIM uses ncurses for visual interface and has vim-like keybindings and some functional similarities with vim text editor.
These Nmap NSE Scripts are all included in standard installations of Nmap. Use them to gather additional information on the targets you are scanning. The information can both add context to the hosts you are scanning and widen the attack surface of the systems you are assessing.
You have two choices when it comes to formatting academic papers for conferences and journals: Microsoft Word and LaTeX. [...] PubCSS is an exploration of HTML and CSS as a third option. It’s a library of stylesheets and templates for formatting academic papers. Perhaps HTML and CSS can hit the sweet spot between the ease of Word and the efficiency LaTeX. Like LaTeX, HTML is a markup language, but one that a lot more people have experience with. CSS has proven its worth for styling fluid layouts, and with CSS3 modules around the corner, things can only improve for print.
Fasd (pronounced similar to "fast") is a command-line productivity booster. Fasd offers quick access to files and directories for POSIX shells. It is inspired by tools like autojump, z and v. Fasd keeps track of files and directories you have accessed, so that you can quickly reference them in the command line.
The name fasd comes from the default suggested aliases f(files), a(files/directories), s(show/search/select), d(directories).
Fasd ranks files and directories by "frecency," that is, by both "frequency" and "recency." The term "frecency" was first coined by Mozilla and used in Firefox (link).
Syncthing replaces proprietary sync and cloud services with something open, trustworthy and decentralized. Your data is your data alone and you deserve to choose where it is stored, if it is shared with some third party and how it's transmitted over the Internet. : 1. Private. None of your data is ever stored anywhere else than on your computers. There is no central server that might be compromised, legally or illegally. 2. Encrypted. All communication is secured using TLS. The encryption used includes perfect forward secrecy to prevent any eavesdropper from ever gaining access to your data. 3. Authenticated. Every node is identified by a strong cryptographic certificate. Only nodes you have explicitly allowed can connect to your cluster. || Getting started guide https://github.com/syncthing/syncthing/wiki/Getting-Started
Sysdig captures system calls and other system level events using a linux kernel facility called tracepoints, providing a rich set of real-time, system-level information.
Sysdig "packetizes" this information, so that you can do things like save it into trace files and easily filter it, a bit like you would do with tcpdump. This makes it very flexible to explore what processes are doing.
Sysdig is also packed with a set of scripts called Chisels that make it easier to extract useful information and do troubleshooting.
Sysdig is designed from the ground up for minimal overhead and is production ready.
